In the preparation stage for the 23rd Women’s World Championship in December 2017 in Germany, the German Handball Federation DHB will participate in the “Handball@School” programme of the International Handball Federation. Four courses mainly for primary school teachers will be staged in the hosting cities of Germany 2017. For each three days the IHF lecturers Klaus Feldmann (Germany) and Milan Petronijevic (Serbia) will teach the teachers in Trier, Oldenburg, Leipzig and Bietigheim and will put the spotlight on handball lessons from different angles.
PE teachers, PE students and youth coaches, who cooperate with primary schools, are the main target group for those workshops. The number of participants will be limited to 50 persons each, the workshops will be held in English. Except the expenses for meals no further costs will arise for the participants.

14 - 16 September Trier, 18 - 20 September Oldenburg, 21 - 23 September Leipzig, 25 - 27 September Bietigheim
The 23rd Women’s IHF World Championship will be carried out in six cities all over Germany from 1 to 17 December. Trier, Oldenburg, Leipzig and Bietigheim are the venues for the preliminary round, eighth-finals, quarter-finals and President’s Cup will take place in Leipzig, the final weekend is in the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg.
